Originally from Greenock, Charlie is the Leader of the      group,   having been a member of the Helensburgh and Lomond Fiddlers since 1995.

His hobbies are making violins and composing music mainly in a traditional Scottish style. 

An accomplished violin maker, Charlie has made over eighteen instruments to date.
